It is my goal to help each mother have the best pregnancy, labor, and delivery experience possible based on her needs/desires. Not everything will go according to plan, but it is my job to help empower and advocate for each woman to help her reach her personal goals. I help coordinate with her birthing team (i.e. her partner, her provider etc.) in order to make it the best experience possible for everyone involved.
It is my pleasure and honor to serve women and their families during this joyful, and sometimes difficult, season in their life journey. |
Native of Wake Forest, NC, I serve my home town and surrounding areas of the triangle. I graduated from Meredith College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a K-12 Teaching Certification. I am currently teaching at Thales Academy in Raleigh, NC. I love my job!
My husband and I welcomed our first daughter in May of 2012 and most recently our second daughter in November of 2015 (we are all pictured above). To date, I have attended 11 births and have experience with many different birth scenarios including completely non-medicated births, vaginal births with epidurals, vaginal births with IV pain medications, Cesarean births, home birth, water birth, and a successful VBAC. |
